This Privacy and Cookie Policy (“Policy”) (together with our Terms of Use, and any other documents referred to in this Policy, which are incorporated in this Policy by reference) will govern and apply to the collection, processing, use, disclosure, transfer, and retention of your Personal Data and/or Sensitive Data by Medico.

By indicating your acceptance to the Policy (whether by clicking on an “I Accept” button or any equivalent), visiting or registering as a user on websites owned, managed, or controlled by Medico (“Website”), or interacting with Medico by telephone, email, or in person), you hereby agree to the terms set out in this Policy.

This includes any information you provide on the Website (eg when you register as a user or purchase a product (whether from Medico or from a third-party Seller). This personal information will include your name, your address, your contact information and your payment information (and other kinds of personal information). Sometimes when you provide personal information on Medico's Website, you can choose not to provide certain personal information, but this might limit our ability to provide certain features to you. You will be informed what information is required and what information is optional.

2.2 Personal information automatically provided to us. We receive and store certain types of information whenever you visit Medico's Website. For example, like many websites, we use “cookies”, and we obtain certain types of information when your web browser accesses our Website or advertisements and other content served on Medico's website, if applicable.

2.3 Medico may collect such data by a variety of methods and sources, including but not limited to the following:

(a) Medico may collect such Personal Data and/or Sensitive Data provided through the Website, the Social Media Sites, or telephone, e-mail, or in person. You can update and correct your personal information anytime under "My Account". Whenever we send you any information via e-newsletters, we will include instructions on how to unsubscribe and a one click link to do so.

(b) This includes Personal Data and/or Sensitive Data provided to Medico at any time, including but not limited to, the following occasions:

(i) When you make an appointment, make an enquiry, or report a problem to Medico;

(ii) When you participate in offers, programs, promotions, that are sponsored, organised, and/or managed by Medico or its service providers;

Medico does not sell or release your personal information to third parties.
We only use your information for the purposes set out in Section 3 of this Privacy Policy.

4.1 Current or future Medico entities or subsidiaries. This includes without limitation our business partners and financial institutions, from time to time. These other parts of the Medico business may be involved in providing certain services to you or supporting the provision of these services.

4.2 Law enforcement agencies. We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our rights; or protect the rights, property or safety of Medico, our users or others including you.

5. Minors

Medico does not knowingly collect Personal Data and/or Sensitive Data from individuals under defined as a minor by the applicable laws and regulations on age (“Minor”). In the event that such information is provided to us, the Minor’s parent or legal guardian shall accept and consent or be deemed to accept or consent to the Policy.

6. Cookies

The Website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of the Website. A “cookie” is a small data text file stored in the hard drive of your computer (if it so permits), which can be retrieved during your next visit to the Website. This enables our systems to remember the information that you have previously entered, allowing us to better cater to your needs; and improve navigation and to collect aggregate information. These cookies will not give us any other personal information about you. Your Internet Service Provider allocates an IP address to your computer or device in order for it to access the Internet. The IP address is considered to be non-personal information and it may be dynamic (changing every time you connect to the Internet), or it may be static (unique to your computer). We collect your IP address. We do this to diagnose server problems and report aggregate information and determine the fastest route from your computer to Medico's Website.

While security cannot be guaranteed, Medico shall take reasonable measures to ensure the confidentiality and security of the personal information shared with these third parties and to protect it from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.

It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. You are responsible for changing your password should your password be lost or compromised for whatever reason. Be sure to sign off when you finish using a shared computer.

8. What about third-party advertisers and links to other websites?

Medico's Website may include third party advertising and links to other websites. We are not responsible for third party websites, and you should find out from the other websites about their privacy policies.

9. Changes to Policy

(i) Medico may revise the Policy at any time, in its sole and absolute discretion, without any prior notice, and such revised Policy shall be effective as on the date published;

(ii) You agree or shall be deemed to agree to be bound by the revised Policy by continuing to access any part of the Website, continuing to access any part of the Social Media Sites, or by interacting with us by telephone, fax, email, or in person;

(iii) You may refer to the date on which the Policy was last revised to determine if any revision has taken place.

10. Updating your information

You must make sure that the details you provide us with are correct and complete. You can see, review and change most of your personal information by logging into "My Account". Upon request to our customer service, we will close your account and remove your personal information from view as soon as reasonably possible, based on your account activity and in accordance with applicable law. We do retain personal information from closed accounts to comply with law, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our User Agreement, and take other actions otherwise permitted by law.

11. Marketing

You may choose to stop receiving or change the frequency of email, phone and mobile marketing communications. If you do not want to receive e-mail or other marketing materials from us, please adjust your user account preferences or use the unsubscribe function sent to your e-mail.

(a) Collection, Use, and Sharing of Sensitive User Data

Collection: Data is collected through user-authorized devices and sensors, including but not limited to ventilators, blood pressure monitors, and glucose monitors.
Use: We use this data to provide personalized health insights and recommendations to help you manage your health and fitness goals.
Sharing: We may share your data with your authorized healthcare providers to deliver better healthcare services. We will not share your data with third parties without your explicit consent.

(b) Data Usage Purpose

We only use data to provide or improve the functionality or features of the machine and/or application and do not use it for any other purposes.

We access data only after obtaining explicit consent from the user. Users can withdraw their consent at any time.

(d) Data Protection Measures

We have implemented strict technical and organizational measures to protect user data against unauthorized or unlawful access, destruction, loss, alteration, or disclosure.

(e) Data Deletion by User

Users can delete their data at any time through the application settings. We commit to promptly deleting the relevant data upon receiving a user’s request.

Language

This Policy is written in English and may be translated into other languages. In the event of any conflict between the English version and other translations of this Policy, the English version shall prevail.
